Where to shoot in MN?

What about CR's?

When I lived in Blaine, I liked to go to CR's. Carbones Pizza was awesome and they used to have (maybe still do) have the absolute best lunch special in the business. Something awesome that was usually home made, 3 hours of pool, and a drink for under 8 bucks. Used to try to get there almost every week day.

I liked two stooges as well, it was just less personable I felt. Jimmys was ok when I lived down there, but had some security issues. Going to Shooters was always a treat, back when you could smoke in a pool room in MN, I felt this is what a pool hall should be, and felt it was like a 50's era pool hall.

Ive never been to shooters before. Im usually at brunswick in bp or Stooges.

It's in Burnsville. Great food, great equipment, full bar.

This is actually a standing offer to anyone else who might want to get together for a game. I'm free almost every night.

There will be several of the AZ guys at Shooters Sunday afternoon. If you want to get together and play some ring games or flip it or 1 pocket, there will be plenty to do. Shoot me a PM if you want to meet up.

You can also play in tourneys.
Monday: Shooters 9ball Open
Wed: Shooters 9ball Handicap
Friday: Cr's 8Ball (Big Break Pot) & Farmington 8/9ball rotate Handicaped (Not sure if this one is still going on) & Biff's had a no AA/Master 8ball not sure if that's going on still either & Captains Lounge in Isanti has a no AA/Master on Valley's 8ball (I think this is only during league season.)
Saturday: Two Stooges 8ball Afternoon
Sunday: Two Stooges 9ball Afternoon

If you're just looking for people to shoot with, going to pool halls, play in a MPA tourney and meet people, you could post over at billiardcoach.com too. That's almost all Minnesota people. The Minneapolis Billiards Club is another option. Getting a membership there will give you a great place to play and plenty of people to play. If you like to gamble there are games around and if you say so here I'm sure they'll find you.

Thanks! Yea.. I played M8 at stooges for a season couple years ago, and just finished with Tues, Thurs, and Sun nights league for APA, for the season. But I was just looking to see if people wanted to meet up and shoot some and just play. Its always nice to meet new shooters and interact within the pool community. Or heck, maybe even join someone's team for leagues if needed. :)

What was your M8 rating and in which league?
