Mezz ferrule replacement?

Has anyone using a Mezz changed ferrules to some non original brand? My ferrule is about to give in and I'd like some help regarding this matter because extra ferrules from Mezz seem to be hard to come about.

Been playing with cue/shaft for 5 years. Over the years the shaft/ferrule have been the victim of sanding and playing with a tiny piece of what you refer to as a hard leather tip. The cue/shaft has also been used for breaking both soft and hard. I really don't blame the shaft, I 'm not dissapointed at the quality of Mezz products. It's a nice shaft and I want to keep using it, there for the ferrule has to be replaced.

Well...
1. no more sanding;
B. use a tip pad under your next tip!
 
I actually tried the new pechauer tip with pad but that tip threw me off. I'll buy the WX900 shaft that comes in my prefered size of 12,00mm. But I can't promise I'll be able to keep away from sanding the shaft :)

Best regards Bob, proud sponsor of Mezz products. Don't be afraid of the grit, it might make your shaft a wee bit better, or worse, or it might even break it. Keep pool alive, keep buying new stuff.
