200 + w/Pro One

DTL,

Nice!

How long have you been using Pro1 & what were you doing before?

I've known about CTE for several years.............since Stan first started studying it with Hal. The following link is a Thread back in early March that talked about this and my first Pro One lesson with Stan:

So I guess it's been about 6 months that I've been using Pro One. My previous high run prior to that was 115. Since then I've had over 20 100+ ball runs.........2 in the 140's, one in 150's and now the 219. It has definitely improved my shot making and overall game. There is an initial "learning curve" for sure.........weeks to months. But once you get it down the system puts you in a consistent, simple PSR for nearly every shot. After a made shot I automatically walk over the the CTEL of the next shot and without thinking see an aim line to A/B/C/ or 1/8.

Before that I guess I used the ghost ball/feel method.

Thanks for the reply, the info & the link. I've been intrigued with CTE since first learning about it but I am waiting for the new DVD.

When I first tried it I had limited success but attributed that to my limited understanding of it.

The more I see videos of such success as yours, I get even more intrigued.

Great shooting & thanks again.

Best Wishes,
Rick

Well Duke,

i enjoyed this video for several reasons. You have a fantastic rythm- and i really enjoy your mechanics. Your PSR is nearly perfect with a beautyful smooth stroke.
Haven t run through the whole vid bc of rewinding here and there :p -and fantastic patterns, too til now what makes such high runs possible!

thumbs up- long ago that i enjoyed watching straightpool that much!

Wow...nice run. Just watched a bit of the video and every shot looks so natural and it doesn't look like you're aiming at all....nice shooting.
They're having the world 14.1 in Astoria New York this week...I think you'll have a good shot against these guy. Do you play in tournament?

Duc.
