Tactical Cue Case

It is funny the price they get for cue cases. I once bought a case made to carry arrows for like $19.00 at Bass pro shops. With just a small modification I made a cue case out of it. It was great and the quality was very good. Sort of what you are thinking it had a camo look to it. I later sold a cue I had in it and the buyer insisted of getting the case as well. I was getting a good price for the cue so I threw in the case. I am sure he had no idea just how inexpensive the case really was it looked so good. I remember another guy who used to come in the pool room that had a converted telescope case he used for his cues. Look pretty cool.

There are tons of cases out there which would make decent cue cases with a little modification. Most of the time the only real issue is length. Not many cases are the right length for cues so you end up with ones that too long and look a little funny.

Bow cases are often the closest in length.

One time a friend brought me a bow case and suggested that we could sell them as ultra protective cue cases. I looked it over and figured out it was made of plywood. So I asked her if she felt it could take a lot of abuse. She said yes and I said can I jump on it? She said sure and I jumped on it and cracked it. It was obvious to her that it would have destroyed any cues inside.

Well, I did come to this forum specifically to find a custom cue maker. It was shortly after ordering my cue that I realized I don't have enough case space to house another one.

Cool, meanwhile I am going to mess around with the MOLLE method. Seems pretty straightforward as to how it's done.

Many years ago I made a line of cases with interchangeable pockets. The idea was similar that the user could take as any pockets as they could fit on the body for whatever use they needed.

Check out the PALS setup. It is what allows attachment with MOLLE gear. Basically one inch webbing spaced an inch apart and sewn in every inch and a half. Its an amazing system for ease of interchangeability.
 
Do search for "Tactical Arrow Cases" and the like.

Damn near perfect dimensions for a pool cue, TONS of options.

yo if they offered one of these in a USMC digi cammie option i'd put it on my must buy before i die list

I was just thinking yesterday, that I wish my case strap had QD points.
 
30 to 80 is something everyone could afford. However, I buy everything used because the quality items are so expensive brand new and I simply cannot afford them.

What about the old, surplus Sat Com bags? Guys are using them to backpack carry A4's, so I'd imagine it wouldnt be too hard to come up with a plastic shell interior for em.

As soft cases or becoming more popular,I can see this taking off like wildfire.
