Thursday 2013 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship Thread

It should have been, JAM. The quality of play is very high, but the 9-ball keeps tracking right at the bottom left pocket every break. It just gagged up again for Corey, ending in a 3/9 combo. Really unfortunate.

Aaron

OMG! That was fast. Corey already on the hill.

Earl is going down. Greek man on the hill. 10 to 6.

Shannon pulling out in front over Roberts, 7 to 3.

Matt and Shawn still neck and neck at 7-7. WOW!

Can Wang 4 to 3 over Karl Boyle.

9 ball corner pocket

every single break in the Deuel and Morris match it seems like the 9 ball ends up right in front of the corner pocket for an easy combo. I don't like this at all

Corey, love it or hate it, is the Break Mechanic. LOL

Thanks for all the updates. I am working and can't watch right now. I use IE and can't get the brackets either so all your efforts are much appreciated.

Earl loses. :( Goes to the B side of the charts, so there's still hope for an Earl finals. :)

Morris breaks, makes like 14 balls and scratches. Corey runs out for the W.

Final TPA: CD-.851; RM-.855

Aaron

Wow! That is a tough way to lose. Poor Rodney. I'm happy for Corey.

Well, Rodney goes to the B side of the charts too. He's still in this race to the finish. :)

Our man Chris Bartram is coming up soon against Niels Feijen.. :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Shannon on the hill against Roberts.

The kid who made a bet on Matt Kraw plus 2.5 loses his bet. Matt Krah is at 9 now, with Shawn Wilkie at 7. :embarrassed2:

Rodney looked pretty solid in that match. Wouldn't be surprised to see a high finish out of him.

Aaron

He was so excited about this tournament. He's still in it to win it, I hope. :)

Can Wang over Karl Boyle, 5 to 4. This must be an interesting match.

This tournament is wide open. Somebody should have dusted off their bottle of ether and put a few of these guys to sleep.
