Any cheap action in Paducah KY?

I lived there for 3 years and there is plenty of cheap action and a great place to play.
Dickie Todd owns a great place called Side Pockets.
It is clean, safe and well ran.
Dickie is a perfectionist about his tables. He has (3) 9 foot GC tables, several 8 foot tables that he runs his in house league, and a couple of Valley bar boxes for the APA leagues. He gets his tables recovered about twice a year in Simonis and he keeps them clean and well taken care of. Again, Dickie plays and demands the equipment be right.
He serves beer and I think the drafts are $1..:thumbup:
I would say the game of choice there is banks (Hell its Kentucky). I think they invented it or something. There are bangers to world class bankers there. Buddy Hall plays or usually plays there daily and he plays great and tells a lot of stories. :thumbup: They play $2 ball full rack ring bank pool game every day. Truman Hogue says it’s the best bank game in the country, but he isn’t from Chicago so what does he know about banks..
(That was a joke).I gambled at 9-ball and one pocket there. I played cheap and that meant $5 game 9 ball and $10 game one pocket. I can’t imagine gambling cheaper that that.
Dickie is a great guy and will either match up or find you someone to match up with you.
If bar table action is your gig, there is a place across the river in Metropolis, which has several bar tables (10-12) that might be more to your liking.
