Brunswick super speed cushions

I just recieved 10 sets of Brunswick super speed cushions in this week....the cushions are super clean and a deeper reddish color.
Several months back I spoke with John Azzato sales rep for Brunswick.....I mentioned how the cushion were cut very badly and cloth control strip on the cushions were not to good.
He said he was in a meeting with the right people he needed to talk to about the problem...and was unaware of anything wrong with the cushions.
I was impressed to see the change in the cushions....not as clean as Artemis...but very close....and a major change from the old cushions.
I haven't spoken with John as of yet.....so I hope they made a change for the better....or I just shit out and recieved 10 sets of awesome cushions.

I'll let ya know...when I find out....but if the change has been made on the cushions.....I'll be all but done with the Artemis cushions.....other than for the 10 foot tables......maybe Brunswick will come out with 10 foot cushions again.

That is awesome news Mark...the last couple of sets of Super Speed cushions I got were all over the place. Made setting them difficult. Glad you have someones ear with Brunswick. :thumbup:

Since when did Brunswick give a chit about listening to installers/mechanics..?
All the deep red SS cushions I've come across was on the GCIII's and would crack and split if removed... Hopefully that won't happen with the updated formula'
Perhaps you could talk Brunswick about some of the hardware..0h' and a GCV 10' would be sweet.

I'm pretty sure Brunswick don't want to go through that nightmare again...ya think? The cushions look very clean......I'll see how they play in a few weeks.
As far as Brunswick making any changes in the hardware.....I wouldn't have any idea......when Rob Sheets left Brunswick so left any input I had with Brunswick.
I can get cushions and pockets....nothing more from them.
I had a lot to do with the GC5 design......but like I said.....pretty sure those days are over.lol
I sure miss Rob Sheets working as V.P. Of Brunswick.....he was good for the game.and really cared about the quality of the tables.
They need to get that guy back again....or someone in charge that cares about the quality of the tables again.

I'm trying to get rid of the floating nut plate.....sure it's strong....but to many problems with broken bolts.
