American Rotation Challenge match

BTW, my next match is against Scott Johnson, whom you barely edged in the session 1 finals (He got me 100-81 1st session - but the sun was in my eyes ;)).

I might have to jar him. :grin-square:

Go AM RO! The only league I know of where sandbagging and jackassism is removed. And you make your own schedule. :thumbup:

15 is the head ball. 2 & 3 behind it. 1 in the middle. 13 & 14 behind and touching the 1. Why it's exactly that way? My guess...

Keep the 1 in the cluster after getting BIH off the break. Get the 2 and 3 up table. Make it tough to go far.

Joe knows a little @ racking, lol. Perhaps he'll expand on this.

I remember Tom telling me that in one of his matches last session he opened with a break and run, then his opponent ran out, then he broke and ran, then his opponent broke and ran...that's pretty strong lol.
 
I just realized that couldn't happen bc he would have the second break. I'll have to do some fact checking :P. . . .prob was in the middle of a match. . .

We just redid the rule book and I'm pretty sure jarring is at least a free shot foul?

Yea maybe by opened up with a break and run he meant on his first break ball in hand opportunity.

Our session here at strokers is starting Tuesday. I am very excited to play another session and hopefully Ill qualify to play at the derby. Either way its a great game and I hope it continues to grow

I'm glad you hopped in our first national event and glad you're in again, it does send a message. You're obviously looking good for a top 4 spot at Stroker's but will run into some killers for sure at the regionals, Sharp Shooters in Miami has fielded a strong 8, I wish I could be there for that one. We'll be missing Adam Wheeler this time though as Orlando couldn't field 8 players, sad.

We didn't play yesterday. He and I played different opponents. I sneaked out a 150 - 81 victory. So far I've got 441 points out of 450.

Scott and I will try to lock horns this week before I head to The Cup. As you know, Scott is dam strong, I'll have to bring my best. He got me 100 - 81 last session.

We went from 9 to a struggling 16, 3 rooms are still trying to get 8 players and cram it in.
I was really hoping for 20 :( but everything is still good. People playing seem to be reporting all good things. I just want to see 64 united clubs sooo bad, then we'll have something special. Something we can bring to someone outside the industry.

I spoke with Gate City Billiards owner Don Liebes a few weeks ago. I asked him if he was again hosting the regionals. He said he didn't yet know but was certainly hoping so. I'd like to give a :thumbup: for Gate City again!

Our Sharpshooters region is going to be really tough to crack simply to qualify for regionals in the coming sessions... With other players likely to try and add on soon like Anthony, Rob Melrose, and a few other champions...

I think the fairest thing to do is to give precedent to the first players to sign on. From there we'll have to have a waiting list or add on a second room for our area :).

well that ought to be a 5 hr match - great. i'll be taking a nap in the car. cause yesterday's was 3hr match, (due to rush for leagues coming in).
