Mosconi Updates Please

Boyes wins 6-4.... bring out the fat lady with Hatch and Rodney might as well save some time...

Europe 10-2

Say good night Gracie....

No, just more of the same.

I'm trying to read the multiple Mosconi Cup threads on the forum. The synopsis is this: Earl sucks, Hatch sucks, USA sucks, the Break sucks, Johnny sucks.

Team Europe is the best. Ralf is beautiful. Karl is wonderful. Team Europe is excellent.

By the way, I don't care for the way Karl shook Earl's hand.

If you had been sharked and ridden so hard all match, where you have to turn away from your opponent because he cant STFU then you earn the right to give a douche hand shake.

Earl deserved a kick to the groin.

The Euros are exponentially more talented at winning team based races to six.

Not one of them wouldn't be a twenty game underdog to SVB in a race to 100. Not one of them would play Johnny even ten or nine ball. The US side has many problems. Talent for the actually playing the game is not one of them.

The problem with the US is not talent. It is that they have zero leadership and are stuck with the most toxic player ever put on any team in any sport. Personally I am glad the Euro's smoked them the way have. It shines a spotlight on how screwed up US pool is. Maybe some things can be changed.

I agree 100%. It really is parallel to US pool in general. The gap of the mental mindset of these two teams is massive. It's time to evolve.

daz would be a twenty game underdog? OK...

Hey, can everybody please post the link you are watching. Mine keeps freezing. I am watching this: http://www.coolsport.tv/sky-sports-4-live-stream-online.html

Jennie:

I'm watching that link just fine. As a suggestion (from a network guy), make sure you shutdown any programs running in the background that could be doing updates, pulling/pushing/syncing files (e.g. Dropbox), etc. Shut that crap down.

While everyone likes to brag about their extremely powerful desktop/laptop computer (whether that's a PC, Mac, whatever -- doesn't matter), and how they have 1,001 browser tabs open doing all these things, they don't realize any platform is constrained by the network connection. You can't expect to squeeze fire hydrant volume through a garden house. Make sure that garden hose is not being used by other programs.

Earl insulted Karl, personally, throughout the match. Was given multiple warnings from Ken. The fact that Karl shook earls hand at all shows what kind of kid he is. Earl did himself no favors with his behavior, that match. You could almost hear Barry laughing in the background, if you listened hard enough.

Thanks for the info. I will do so. :)

I like Earles idea of taking away the side pockets. I wonder what that would be like to play on?? I think it would be OK.
I can see the Strickland line of tables coming!!

Can USA delay the inevitable?

Relying on Hatch and Morris to stop Europe from winning this entire thing is not so reliable...especially being the worst two players on the US team going up against the two best players on the team.
