2013 UK Championship - November 26 - December 8

I bet a buck that Barry thought he had the match in the bag at 4-2 up & 5-3 up.but it went to the decider.

If you like the safety play side to snooker you just had to enjoy the game of cat & mouse at the end of the final frame with Barry setting the snookers & Mark getting out of them. When Mark missed the green & gave away the free ball I thought Barry should've rolled up to the pink & set another snooker.I suppose the free ball worth 3 points made him go for the pot on the pink but he was awkward cueing with the rest playing the shot & shaking like a leaf so no wonder he missed the pot.

What shot would you have played there ? Roll up to the pink for a snooker behind the blue or go for the pot ?

I watched this over again and decided I would take on the black, a tougher pot but easier cueing and affording position for the green, trapping Selby for another required snooker is a slim chance.

Judd Trump V Mark Allen's match

The BBC managed to miss it, at least half of it. At least we got all the football results, including non league and second round of the FA cup.

I settled back to watch that match but Auntie Beeb decided to put on scottish Politics instead. Then later on I thought I'd watch the Highlights of the match but Auntie Beeb decided th show a programme called The Choir instead. :frown::rolleyes:

I'd make Robertson firm favourite here. Either way, it'll be a grind. I'm actually looking forward to this one, in a masochistic way...

Expect lots of thinking time.

Selby pushing the boat out using his lead as leverage, nothing wrong with that but it cost him a couple frames he's still dictating the play though.
