When Mark was 5-1 up & 6-2 up who would've thought he'd only win 1 more frame ?

When Mark missed the black to tie it up at 8-8 , well as John Virgo say's , "Snooker is a funny old game."

Congratulation to Neil Robertson and he takes the title to become the first overseas player to take The Triple Crown of Snooker major titles and the honour of being World Snooker's Number One player.
 
Neil came out guns blazing in the evening session, I think it shell shocked Selby cause he was struggling anyway.
 
Selby has become a bit of a choker, it has to be said. I called the missed red that would have made it 7-2 - and game over - well before he played it.
 
I don't think I would ever knock Mark Selby's game as he's one of my favorites for a number of reasons. But I was a bit disappointed in his 2nd session performance (and I'm sure he was much more so).

With his second place finish and his 147 Selby collected almost as much money from the tournament as Neil. :D
