I don't do recovers or table work for a living.
I've covered & railed 1 table. (Mine)

I want my pockets around 4 1/16 - 4 1/4
BUT
I don't know how thick the plywood needs to be to
get the best results ???????? The facing I'll use is 3/16.

Will I glue , nail, or screw the plywood to the table
for my backing??

The more help the merry at this point!!!
Ol yea, it's a Gandy 9'

Thanks
Josh

RKC - thanks. I'll search it ok.
Do u know the angle my Gandy would be (rails)

Don't matter what the old miter angles are, extend the rails blind, then cut the new angles you want into the extentions...which corrects the old angles at the same time. If they're wider than what you want, then you'll see that change in the extentions being thicker in the front and thinner in the back of the extentions.

Glen,
What type of glue do u use? Do u use glue to the plywood? When extended the sub rail?

Thanks
Josh
