Am I crazy? How many sets do you have?

So as my signature shows; I have multiple sets of cue in different bags ready to go, depending on destination.

I have a JB rugged 4x8 case loaded logos and patches, with my sledgehammer & m22b. I take this with me when I shoot at friends.

I also have a JB rugged 2x3 plain black with 2 mcdermott sneakys (m11b & ng01); that I take with me to good establishments.

Then I keep a pair of J&Js (player & j/b) in a J&J case in my car, ready to go practically anytime.

I was asked; "Do I need all of these?"... I said yes; different cues, different roles.

So it has me thinking; am I the only one who does this? What about you guys?

I used to keep my schon, a jacoby and a falcon T&T breaker in a 3x5 Instroke cowboy case and my GK and a sneaky breaker in another case...I only took my GK to my local pool hall and never to the bar...The schon was still my everyday player and I had the jacoby for sale...Anyways...long story short I was getting ready to leave the bar after a night of playing...turned my back for just a minute and my case grew legs ....

I do keep a spare cue in the vehicle now but its nothing special...just a plain wrapless cuetec...I dont have to worry about it warping or ring work coming through the finish or anything...if it gets stolen at the bar or something then I'm not really out anything. I rarely ever pull it out but if I'm ever out and about without my cue's and the need arises at least I have something better than the average bar room wall-a-bushka...

I miss having cue's to spare so to speak...got married and all my pool money mysteriously disappeared

I've got several, each with a breaker and a player with a couple of shafts, the brand of chalk that I use, I've got identical tips on them. Each is ready to go. Funny though, I always use the same one unless I'm playing at home. Maybe I'm weird...

its the only way 2 go !

Yep ! A cue for leagues (tight tables, lotsa clattering of cues)
A cue for bar-hopping
A tourney cue.
Still some others that do multi-role.

Why have your decent player killed on league night ?? quik way to a re-finish i'd say :sorry:

I have one playing cue and one b/j cue. Im thinking about buying a spare shaft and that is about it.

I have a case for flying, one for pool rooms, one for dive bars, one for local friends' homes, and my home cue.

LOL!!! Yeah.

I"ve got my normal set, testing set, dive bar set, travel set...

I usually have my case loaded with player, breaker, and jump cue. Then have a cheap 1x1 case with a cheap cue (like the Dale Perry I demolished) that I keep in my truck to play in bars.

I may pick up one of these cases and keep a cheap viking or mcdermott in. They remind me of the GTF/It's George/Fellini style cases.
