Tutorial: How to post a shot on this forum

We used to have a "create-a-shot" feature on the old usba website, but for some reason it is not functioning right now. We need a tech guy to go in there and retrieve it so we can put it up on the new site. For now, I am using CueTable.com's 3C table (which is now pool.bz):

http://pool.bz/3cCueTable.php

Drag the balls to where you want them. Double-clicking the cue ball will start to create a line for the cueball path. Click once to stop it when it hits a cushion or an object ball. Click twice to end the shot.

There is a tool feature on the bottom rail that looks like a wrench. This opens up many features. TXT is what you click to write text. Write the text (example: cueball) and then click once and then you can drag the text to where you want it.

Just to the right of the TXT feature there is "Screen Capture" (copy). Click that and you can then "paste" it into software such as Photoshop. Save the picture on your computer somewhere.

When you reply to a post, click "Post Reply" on the left side of the screen while you are in this forum (don't use "quick reply"). This will allow you to add an attachment (paperclip icon). Locate your file and then upload it. Once it is uploaded, it will appear in your reply.

Jim, I tried to open the site but windows won't let me in. The window tells me it won't allow it to open because of an unknown publisher. My pop-up blocker is off!, any suggestions? Thanks'Dan

The cuetable is broken. Members here have tried for 3 or 4 yrs to get its author to allow its use again inside embedded posts on AZ and onepocket.org.

The only way it works is to have an account at cuetable.com, make the table, then post it here as a screenshot. Unfortunately, doing that removes the interactivity of the table and it becomes a static picture.

Then how come it works for me?

It works if you paste it as a picture. But, up until about 4 years ago you could actually paste the "live" table in the forums. So when a shot situation came up, a user could click on the actual table in your post, and move the balls around to show what he would do, and then put his shot solution in his reply post. That's the functionality we lost. We had it for maybe 6 or 7 years, and then lost it about 4 years ago.

Wow, that sounds like a great feature. It would be perfect if you could keep the balls where they are and re-do just the lines.
