Hey guys, I'm curious to know if anyone has a spare Kress power cord they're not using that you'd be willing to sell. I sold a Kress to a friend a few months ago and the plug that plugs into the kress got damaged so he asked if I had another, I do not.

It takes so long to order from Europe and it's a PIA! Let me know if you have one. Not sure if there's a difference but I need it for the 220v model.

Let me know if you have one please...

Thanks, Jon

nope

Umique doesn't sell parts. They only sell the 800 model which doesn't use the same power cord as the 1050....

Anyone have a spare? Anyone? Anyone?

End is destroyed... his dog chewed it up into a mangled piece of garbage.

I mean no offense, but it sounds like the dog has separation anxiety. Fix the dog as well. I know someone in the states stocks Kress, but I can't remember who. I'll try to figure it out. I'll also have a look at mine and see if I can figure something out....

Home Depot sells 220V plugs . Strip away .
I went to ORVAC to get my 110 US standard for my Kress 800.
I don't think ORVAC is national though.

That was my first thought.. I don't know that they have that kind of end. There MUST be a place where you can find the end.

Like Joey said, you don't have to spend big bucks to get an OEM cord and plug....

They have a proprietary plug that plugs into the router. Seems they did it so all of their tools can use the same power cord, not sure why it needs to be proprietary though. I guess, Milwaukee Sawzalls use their own plug on the tool side too. Both of us(me and my buddy) are fairly industrious so if there were a simple solition we would have solved the problem already. If something doesn't give soon I'm going to remold the plug myself I guess. The prongs are unlike any other plug I've ever seen so it wouldnt be worth trying to find something to jury-rig into it. I just need to make sure the latex won't be able to run inside the case. It'll be a fair amount of jackin around to make the molds but after its done I'll be able to pour a bunch of them and have some spares incase we ever need another or if someone else needs one. We'll see, Jim saif he may have one so hopefully he does!

Thanks Mac! Larry at Midwest Circuit is hooking me up with one out of a new 1050 and ordering in one to replace the one he sells to me. Great guy! Also, they sell all kinds of carbide and hss micro end mills like we all use in CNC or whatever type inlay machines you may use. I'm going to put a post on here directing people to his shop for hooking me up.... thanks again,.Jon
