x3d I have over a dozen viable products that will eventually see light of day under Outsville.. god willing of course :thumbup:
I have a very odd education.... I ended up on the CPA track before becoming a consultant after I was halfway thru my Junior year to become a chemical engineer... The last 10 months I spent in my engineering education was working for a sub lab for DOE/DOD in Oak Ridge TN on COOP... It's where they built the bombs for WW2...
I grew up in a speed shop that did everything from stock class NHRA to NASCAR work... I build things and make things because I grew up doing it......
Being from the south I may talk slow and move slow but don't let that fool you into assuming I think slow
But about the chalk.... I can't ever see $20-$30 chalk based on a mineral formula.... I'd like to think $5 a cube would be realistic... Using cosmetic grade minerals and high quality abrasives it should be extremely doable...
Outsville has done several test formulas at this point. I have more minerals in the basement than Mary k at this point LOL. We are on hold until I can afford the right ovens to process the chalk in......

Only thing on Outsville.com is a sampler... for Azers I have been altering the sampler and doing pretty much what they request as long as it is not 3 of the same hardness... just make sure to pm me here when you hit paypal so I can swap whatever tips are needed....

Sorry I totally missed the PM.... As I said with Alonj it does depend on where in Europe... I would have to check shipping and customs for Croatia but what I know from past orders to Eastern Europe is that the shipping would be be fairly high..... I want to say to for a set of Accu-Racks to Romania was $28 US for tracking...
Weight will influence it some so all I can say is I can check... I am hoping to have Oliver stocking them in Germany soon... We spoke a few months ago but I didn't have time to follow up at the Open....

Still mainly selling on the forums for now... The only thing the site has up is the Sampler at the moment... Need to correct that and put in standard quantity breaks but so far I've been pricing orders as I get requests...
Sampler is still $15 but goes to $20 January 1st... Installers are charging 12-15 a tip plus installation and I have to start protecting them as more large orders come thru.....

LOL was going to offer a free break tip with every sampler purchased but my machinist still hasn't gotten around to making my mold... Cant really rush him since the price is "right".... Well I can and I keep trying but it's really doing no good =)

Problem with a quantity break Christmas sale price is that it may hurt some of the guys who have bought in quantity already....
The sampler breaks down to 5 bucks a tip so it's really what I would consider penetration pricing to get them on the market.... I will mix the samplers up a small amount but I don't allow 3 tips of the same hardness because to get the 5$ a tip price and your choice of hardness grades you you have to order 100 tips minimum...
The majority of my larger orders are 50 for $300... These are the guys in the proshops and in the repair business... They turn around and retail them between $12 and $15 but they have them in stock so there is no wait... With their money tied up in them I think that it's only fair that I only do the Samplers at a discount price and am upping the price January 1st to $20...
The only place the $15 sampler will still show it's face after Jan 1st will likely be Derby City as a show special... I intend to run the January batch numbers a little higher than normal to take em to the tourney.... I may offer them during the event for that price even online but that will likely be the last of it.. I say likely because I was intending on doing more vents this year than just the ones Accu-Stats took me to.... With the changes in the CSI events and the loss of Tunica I might do a show special for Hopkins as I may end up doing a booth there....

Had a good conversation with an Azer earlier today... ddadams had purchased a sampler with 2 hards and a medium... He loved the hard but decided to try the medium... He emailed me because he thought there had been a mistake in the labeling as the medium was playing harder than the hard and his installer was in shock over how hard it was when he cut it during install....
The medium and soft Ki-Techs are finished using heat, dye and a hardening agent... This creates a harder exterior than we can otherwise get... If the installer leaves the tip at total full height and just barely takes any material off when shaping the tip the medium and soft will BOTH feel and play way harder than they actually are....
for anyone in the future that has a soft or medium installed and feels like it's playing like a super hard simply take the tip down a bit further and you will get thru the exterior and the tip will play like what it was advertised to be:thumbup:

Okay I'm going to write a review sooner than later on the mediums...
Its just a little hard to lay my cue down when I have the shaft with the hard tip on.

Been looking for a new non-Laminate tip to try. I use Snipers now and like them lots, but do not like the whole laminated theory since it stands to reason that I am essentially hitting the cue ball with the adhesive used to hold the tip together as much as the leather I want to be hitting with.
I will give these a try. I have been wanting to migrate to a harder tip as well, so I am going to kill two birds with the same rock here.

I am literally in love with my hard tips that he sent me...

More and more requests are coming in for the hard... For the most part the most popular has been the soft by a large margin but the hard grade is catching up with the medium pretty quickly....

Just tried one of the Softs, wow, what a nice hit! It may actually be a bit too soft for me, I'll have to play for it for a while, at least this soft actually lives up to the name. My son said it felt like he was not even hitting the cue ball when he tried it. No mushrooming, no odd behavior, just a smooth soft compression on the hit. It does what it should and is probably the best soft tip I have tried.
Mike Webb knows his stuff, he always manages to shape the tip just how I like it (or maybe because we both like a dime radius hehe).
Only thing I wish this tip did was to maintain the dark color, after installing it and a bit of use, the sides are brown rather than the solid black they were when new. The Kamui was black till it wore out. It's not even a gripe LOL, just an appearance thing since I got used to having a black tip, not used to seeing a regular brown I guess.
My son is getting a new shaft for Christmas and I'll be installing the Medium for him, if it hits anywhere as good as the soft did for me, I'll be getting another sampler pack with some Mediums and another Soft for me. Great job on these! Will be a recommendation from me every time.
