Its that time of year again folks.

Finley's Amateur ONLY points tournmanet will begin its 4 month schedule capped off with a Points Finally with an estimated $1000 added to the Championship Event. You MUST be an Amateur to participate in this event. As we all know, it is very difficult to classify who is and who is not an Amateur pool player. As a rule of thumb, if you play in any tour events like ACTION, or Predator and you pay the PRO fee, you can not play in this event. If you pay the Semi-Pro Fee you MAY NOT be able to play in this event. I would recommend emailing and asking before you make the trip. 9baller1975@gmail.com

Rules:
9-Ball
Entry $40 ($10 goes to finale rest is paid out)
Race 7-6 rack you own
Practice 10 AM
Calcutta 11 AM
Play starts Immediatley after calcutta and Draw
9Ball doesnt count in back to pockets
Jump cues allowed
three foul in effect
To qualify for the Finale you MUST participate in atleast 3 Points Events
TOP 16 point holders will not have to pay for finale entry.

How will anyone know what fee they paid ? Shouldn't it also be based on the actual performance of the players in those events ? Does this mean that players like Brett, Josh and Matt would not be allowed to play ?
 
What are the future dates ? It would help me if I know in advance so I don't make conflicting plans. Thanks for your time.
 
Rick does a pretty solid job deciding whether people can play or not. Normally these tournaments are the last Sat of each month. He will get on here an confirm but yes Matt, josh, Brett, shuff, Shawn Toni, Dan madden,
Those guys will not be playing from what I understand.

April 26 (finale)

And Super is correct, The Brett's and Josh's of the world are not aloud to play. Shawn Toni is included on that list as well. Please contact me at 9baller1975@gmail.com if you have any eligibility questions. If you have to ask.. You are probably not eligible. :)
 
Points

To your other question. Points will be awarded based on place finished in the series of events. The top 16 point holders will gain a free entry into the Finale. I will distribute the points structure at the event, but it is pretty much the same as all the other tours. action, predator.. Ect.

Look for a Facebook page tomorrow with more details.
 
Results

Sorry about the late results post everyone. Holidays can be Hectic.

We had a GREAT turnout of 34 People to the first of 4 points events to be hosted at Finley's Tavern. All tournaments fall on the last Saturday of each month and no pre-registration is necessary.

The results are below:

8th Bill Bixler 30

I will have the points posted after the New Year and thank you all for coming and continuing to support the Finley's Championship Series
