Tres, I am looking forward to participating in this event and put forth some effort to display the great work and things you do for pool in the Phoenix area. I for one appreciate your efforts, enthusiasm and unselfish actions you put forth concerning pool.

Dennis Orender will provide the equipment and site from the DCT to live stream, I will attempt to provide some good commentary keeping the viewers informed and you as tournament director will do what you do to bring Bulllshooter's and this Regional Event to the life online.

Hope everyone joins in online at www.desertclassictour.com

Sincerely,
George Teyechea

Hi SJD, aka Dick,
Good to hear from you, I will take your advise and stay out of sight of the camera as I know how it annoys you not to be the best looking guy in the room.:p

You should come by and join me in the booth and share some of your stories to add some color to the commentary so I don't bore the viewers.

As for the DCT Finale, it was played the first weekend of December. Too bad you missed it, we could have shared some Yukon.

Happy New Year to you!!!

George

What kind of added money is in this event this year?
The last couple years it was in Houston, and had good turnouts.

If someone has a flier please attach it. My girl was interested, she had an invite but did not go.

JumpinJoe,

Tried to find a flyer for you but could not. What I did find was that entries were due by December 20th, it is limited to 64 entrants and there is approximately $11,000 in prize monies for this event.

I will forward this info to Tres and see if there is more available. The one thing I am sure of is that the event starts Thursday with only Saturday and Sunday being live streamed beginning 10 am on Saturday and 11 am on Sunday at www.desertclassictour.com

The Regional Tour Championship is an invitational tournament. The Ladies of the 10 Regional tours recognized by the WPBA were invited from each tour based on the number of associate WPBA membership. Invitations were extended from the points leader on down until their tour's quota was filled. Entry fee was $125 and a maximum of 64 players, we expect that it will fill. Bullshooter's added $5000 and is also adding an additional $1000 to a second chance tourney for the players on Sunday.

The format consists of eight ,eight person round robins with matches race to 5.The top 4 of each group will then move into 8 four person groups. The top two from each final round robin group will then be seeded onto a 16 woman single elimination board (race to 7) with the final a race to 7.

Play will start Thursday January 16 at 7pm with the finals to start around 6 or 7 Sunday night. It's a lot of pool in four days but to travel across country and the expense its a lot better than only being guaranteed 2 matches.

If you happen to be in the Phoenix Metro area Jan 16 -19 come on in and support these fine ladies. BullShooter's located at 3337 w Peoria in Phoenix. Hope to see you there or tune into the stream. Tell a friend
