I believe that there is/was a cue maker from Portugal, that exclusively hand carved his cues.
There is a lot of hand carved junk out there but this, along with the inlays and points doesn't put it in with the rest. The detail is much more precise.
I may be far off and the cue itself isn't worth much but what you have is very unique and does set itself off from the other carved cues that you can pick up on EBay.
Piloted shaft joints etc.
Sorry, I missed the part about Sampaio, above my post. Is that not the Portugese maker?
