help with Hollow 8 point

I had a Sampaio cue that looked very close to that in my hand for repairs a few years back.
Far from a cue esspert. Someone will pop in shortly.
I believe that there is/was a cue maker from Portugal, that exclusively hand carved his cues.
There is a lot of hand carved junk out there but this, along with the inlays and points doesn't put it in with the rest. The detail is much more precise.
I may be far off and the cue itself isn't worth much but what you have is very unique and does set itself off from the other carved cues that you can pick up on EBay.
Piloted shaft joints etc.

Go here, antique european cues from past century and more. Page 2 under A2 in the index is a cue like yours from about 1920 describrd as,"...very old '4-point' carved La Victorieuse ( model) manufactured by Hénin Aîné, Paris:".
Although cues of this style were made for decades by many european makers. Look at the cues on tjis site...it is extensive. It definately isnt Sampiano.

I agree on the French maker, looks like Hiolle, as described in the posted link above this cue may have been distributred by Horemans
