Mystery Custom Cue....please help!!!

Heyy everyone I'm new to this site and could really use your help. I came across a cue that has no markings of who made it, or where.......At the bottom of the cue it says Custom Cue Shop December 23 1983. Has anyone ever heard of anything similiar to this?! I can show pictures if needed......please help!

Look for a plastic insert in the shaft for threads

If so Huebler is a great chance. Nice one.

All the Huebler Custom Shop cues that I have seen just have "CUSTOM SHOP" and the month and year opposite, on the bottom of the butt cap. You have to push the rubber bumper out of the way to read it all.

Never seen one with the day included in the date.

The third one in the picture on the right!! I appreciate the help everyone. I'm not planning on selling it now, but possibly in the future. Can anyone tell me the value of it by chance??

Can you take a picture of the writing on the butt of the cue?

As I said I have not seen one with the full date, just the month and year, good to learn new stuff! Sounds like somebody had a good Christmas back in 1983.

Poolcrazy, is this something that you have seen before? Did Mr. Hebler do that on the earlier cues and were they marked on the side of the buttcap rather than the bottom?

Yeah no problem! Ill put pics of the cue and the butt later on today. My dad owns a tire shop and had woman come in strapped for cash, so she traded the cue to my dad for a set of tires. Been shooting with it ever since
 
some were marked on the side of the buttcapp. but I am waiting on the pics, and then I can tell you more, Paul would ingrave them how the buyer wanted on the side of the buttcap
I have some that don't have anything but the year no month,
So im just going to wait on the pics
