I couldn't disagree more. They mic up the players so that we can hear all of these things. I am sure during the match that having mic on them is an afterthought. I don't want to listen to commentators get down on a player because he is showing some true emotion. DAZ was trying to work through things in his own way. The guy was playing his heart out and you get down on him for the things he was saying mostly to himself.
He may have been talking mainly to himself, but he was mumbling while Dennis was down on shots. And not just once or twice. Maybe it was because I had my headphones on, but I heard it on many occasions. On same subject, I wish Cotton would have eaten before he came. Two-thirds of the match, I was listening to wrappers and chomping that was louder than their voices. That sound chamber really locks in the sound.
