I watched the Snooker shoot out today at the "TOWER CIRCUS VENUE" and it was unbelievably wild with crazed snooker fans out of control. In fact it was like a soccer stadium in there. Point is, when the American team competes there, there gonna need
a ton of character, dedication and lots and lots of practice to come even close to competing with the Europeans in that Venue!

Yep gonna be a pressure cooker.

Thanks for the pic Slasher, never seen the Circus before. How many clowns can it seat? I'm digging the round arena.

I have been there many times as a kid t see Charlie Carole (Famous Clown when I was a kid) I never imagined that years later it would be hosting a cue sport, amazing eh? it will b crazy though.

The 1950 World Snooker Championship snooker tournament was held at the Tower Circus, Blackpool, England. For the fourth year running the final was contested by Fred Davis and Walter Donaldson. Donaldson defeated Davis 51–46 to win his second and last world title. Davis made the highest break of the tournament with 140.

Wow, I had no idea. Before my time though :) Fred Davis 140 I bet it was harder to do then than it is now. Just because of equipment.

LOL, I thought that was the score of the final frame lol. Yeah 51 frames brutal.

Wasn't really paying attention, but I thought I heard one of the snooker commentators at the Shootout say the championship match back in those days took a fortnight. :D
