I picked this up and thought about an old buddy that wanted something special. This is an exact copy of a Szam with the only difference being that the Iovry blocks in the TS rings were maple in the Szam. The owner of the Szam had it made because his Szam was almost stolen and he was offered 26K for it back then!
I do like extra shafts for my fancy stuff!
The case is nice too. One of Jack's 3x8-4x7 Prolite interiors
Enjoy,
Nick :)

Mr. Serdula......that is a flat out beautiful TS cue......it is stunning.
I am so glad you posted photos, especially since it has 3 Bushka rings in the cue butt .
The Bushka rings on this cue are now the best I've seen dropping Rig's Szam cue to #2 slot.
Great veneers and also a really novel way of dating the year of the cue's manufacture.

This is a great looking cue designed just the way I love them with the matching ringwork in every position. Thanks for posting pictures of this beauty.

It plays

The previous owner beat all the big names playing with it and used it in 4 US Opens. He decided to sell all used Cues except his Szam and Balabushka and one other Cue keeping only 71 unchalked Cues.
I lucked out. I have to ask Tim if this is the first Cue they put the flat top radial pin into.
Nick :)

Awesome TS cue Nick. I don't know where you find all these TS gems that I've seen you post pictures of on the forum. This one is one of your best yet.

Gotta say

I've played with this Cue so much since it showed up I can't find the Joint Protectors! Might not need them.
Nick :)

Thank you

You are too kind. This one is a little light but I might fix that.
;)

Nick, you felt the cue was a little light. How much does it play?
And my goodness, is that five original shafts in the cue photo?

The Cue is 18.75ozs. and 58 inches long.

Those are 5 original shafts and another that is an inch longer. I might sell off 3 of them. Having the Ivory Boxes I might not.
I play 20.4ozs.. The Cue plays $3200 or better. I like the pin.
It is a undersized everywhere. Exactly like my 8 point Mike Cochran Custom Cue!

Nick....you got it going today........funny line.....never read or heard a cue owner refer to a cue playing "$3200 or better".
And with 3 extra original shafts that are worth at a couple hundred apiece, this cue should play really well.

The man said he beat everybody.

Might not have beat them every time but he did the beating. And as far as shafts go this Cue only needs one to play lights out.
Nick :)
