Much respect to SVB, he takes a lot of B.S for not beating tough fields.

Well he bested the Bigfoot field a super tuff field and the 9 ball field with 300 players in it. All in one week. Much respect. Go South Dakota Kid. You work hard and deserve it.

Congrats !!! well played Shane. 2 Big wins at the Derby. That's the way to start the new year.

Morra won 8 games. Does anyone know what the first and second place prize is for the 9-ball event?

Wow so Shane made $32,000 all together at the Derby, that's crazy, and that's Excluding any gambling wins outside of the tourney, and a couple hundred from the One pocket and banks. I wonder how much Dennis cashed all together, he topped nearly all events, and got master of the table, that's a pretty good payday.

Dennis got 10k banks, 20k all around and probably 2/4k in 9 ball,a little in one pocket. And he's playing the straight pool finals right now for another 3k. He did well.

I hope SVB stays away from the Craps tables at the casino

Anybody that says Shane can't beat tough feilds is just sore in the a$$ cuz he has clearly established himself as the greatest player on the planet and quickly becoming the best ever. (DEAL WITH IT)

He's fine in the US. It's when he goes overseas, he struggles.

And they don't seem to fair very well against him here either..... at the end of the day I'll take him over all of them.

Yeah, except they do [fair well in tournaments on US soil].

Plenty of non-Americans have traveled here in the past and won big events. Shoot, just look at what Orcollo did this year at Derby. Three top 5 finishes, including two wins.

Appleton and Mika won back to back US Opens. Oh, and don't forget how they came onto our turf, and f#%#@ us in the Mosconi Cup.

Listen, it's nothing against Shane. He's a great player, no matter the game, and no matter the race.

But the facts are that he struggles when he leaves the country.

yeah..... everybody plays better home than away. He'll start feeling better away soon and then they're all in trouble, because he is the real deal:cool:

What happened to the European players this year? did the Americans actually have a better showing at the derby than the Europeans? It's a good thing the Asians don't put together a Mosconi Cup Team.

The problam is that every yr that goes by another Asian superstar is born its a factory over there so his chances diminish not increase
