I have a shaft that has a uniloc joint; but it's not fitting just right on a uniloc butt I have. So looking for a smith to correct this issue.

Any Repairman can Mark. They work and use all the pins and inserts.

Uniloc insert is no different if you are having joint issues. If you are looking for a Predator Repairman. Ryan at Mueller's is one.

Is the shaft offset a bit? Like maybe not installed center.

Thanks for the reply; I PM'ed a couple people... one replied that they don't work with uniloc.

But it's just a cheap uniloc cue that I intend to keep in my car. I wanted to mate another thinner diameter shaft to it.

Not knowing the specifics behind it, figured I would ask openly.

I agree: Ryan is one of the best.

uni-loc

I work with uni-lock ......Are you sure it's a uni-lock all the ones I have fit real snug...

This is his second post.

Thinner diameter, meaning diameter of tip or making the joint collar fit properly.

If it is a thinner joint collar on the shaft than on the butt, no way. Or at least, I can't think of a way to do it. If it is wider, then yes, you can have it mated to the butt.

Me don't know what he meant tho.

Yes; Diameter of the tip...sorry for not conveying that better.

I figured as I kind of knew that if the joint collar was thinner than the butt, you would know that it couldn't be done.

I take it that the collar on the shaft id a bit bigger and you would like it mated to the butt properly.

Won't cost a ton in that case.

I was able to locate another shaft, but it's 14mm... will need to have it turned. Should be much easier to find a smith then.
