USBTC 10 Ball 4th place match just started

Klatt breaks and has shot to run out if he breaks open a cluster. Misses the breakout and plays safe. Shaw returns with a safe, but leaves a piece of the ball. Safety battle ensues. Poor 'ol Ken S. is sick :(
 
Race to 7

Shaw breaks and makes two balls, has a shot on one ball and begins his run. Shaw runs out.

3-0 Shaw; Klatt to break (alternate break)
 
Klatt breaks makes two balls but has to push out. Shaw aims up a tough back cut on one ball and goes three rails for position. Shaw runs out, again.

4-0 Shaw; Shaw to break.
 
Shaw breaks makes a ball and has a run out possibility; however, gets awkward on the three ball and plays safe. Klatt calls the three in the corner. He kicks two rails and makes it with shape on the four ball.
 
Klatt runs out the rest of the table and is on the board.

4-1 Shaw; Klatt to break.
 
Klatt plays safe; Shaw pockets three ball illegally and Klatt gives up shot to Shaw because he's safe. Shaw kicks but leaves safe opportunity. Klatt capitalizes and is rewarded with ball in hand after executing a great safe. Klatt runs out.

4-2 Shaw; Shaw to break.
 
Shaw breaks and scratches; Klatt has open table. Almost missed ball in hand on the one ball :eek: has real thin shot on two in the side. Tough on three ball; plays safe. Shaw kicks and makes the hit (almost made it in side). Safety battle ensues again.
 
Klatt leaves shot in side; Shaw makes it. Shaw goes three rails and gets tough on five ball. He cuts it in and runs out.

5-2 Shaw; Klatt to break.
 
Klatt squats his rock in middle of table but makes no ball. Shaw running out once again.

6-2 Shaw; Shaw to break.
 
Shaw breaks dry but Klatt has to play safe. Klatt plays great safe and receives ball in hand on the one ball. Klatt begins his run out but has some work ahead of him.
 
Klatt navigates his way through and scores another bead.

6-3 Shaw; Klatt to break.
 
Klatt let up on his break, loses his cue ball (didn't squat it in the middle) and makes no ball; however, Shaw must push out. Klatt is thinking loooong and hard. Ken says "When a guy takes this long you know you made a good push". Klatt rejects opportunity. Shaw in the think tank now. Shaw back banks the one ball cross side, cuts two ball in and can't see three ball. Another safety battle.
 
Thanks for the updates! My office is in a weird part of town and I can only get a small 3G signal so I can't even watch it on my phone (it's blocked on the company network).
