Classic matches to watch?

I'm looking for the cream of the crop.

I've wandered around youtube for the past few weeks watching a bit of everything...

9ball, 8ball, 10ball, mosconi cup, us open, worlds etc.

I'm wondering if there are specific matches that are really classic and must-watches.

If you have a link it would be even better! I love watching Strickland, Appleton, Van Boening, Bustamante, only to name a few. Those are the big names I saw a bunch around the Tube.

Thanks in advance!

Add the 1p with Reyes/Deuel. Some of the shots Corey comes up with are amazing, and the ending is a good one.

Yes, I thought the Reyes-Deuel semi-final was a much better match than the Reyes-Gentile final. Assuming you like one-pocket, of course.

The Reyes-Daulton (Galvaston?) match was epic...but the video quality is poor.

My favorites

Sorry but I'm too lazy to copy and paste the links but these are easy finds on YouTube

Efren vs Immonen at DCC (Bata owns Mika for taking a combo so nonchalantly)

Efren vs Strickland (Earl makes sure he educates the crowd by letting them know Efrens playing that shot)

Alcano vs Immonen (the iceman gets melted by the volcano)

All of the above are from the BCLUB network channel.

I like all the recent money matches in the Philippines. If ur annoyed by the background or refs marking the shots then you must not appreciate pool in its purest form.

My favorites are
Alcano vs Jericho Bañares (Jericho is spotting Ronnie the 9/10 ball and spotting Efren the 8/10 how strong is that)

Efren vs Acis Ado

The following are from Hardtimes in CA

Carlo Biado vs the Lion ( Carlo hits a shot to get shape at the end that is so good Alex starts smacking his leg in approval)

Dennis Orcullo vs the Ghost (just amazing)

Orcullo vs Shaw (both of these Dennis O. Matches are awesome bc of the tight pockets)

I will add more if anyone wants the fix lol

If you want to see an amazing comeback, check out Sigel vs Varner. I'm not sure of the year but I think it's around 1990? and I believe the event is the US Open but I'm not positive. I bought the match from Accustats a while back and it's epic to say the least. I'm not sure if you can get it online for free but it's well worth the $15/20 from Accustats if not.

If you can find the TWO matches from the Galveston World Classic with Shannon Daulton and Efren Reyes and Efren Reyes and Shannon Daulton and you like one pocket.....well, this would be a good pair of matches to watch if you like great one pocket.

The audio and the video isn't the greatest but you might appreciate it nevertheless.

It is from the 1990 US open. It is known as "the miss". buying it from accu-stats should be the only option.

If you want to see Efren Reyes at his best (okay, there are lots of Efren's "bests"; this is just one of them...) check out his match against Tagahashi Kunihko.

The video is in four parts, each about 9:50 long (probably posted back when youtube had a 10-minute limit). Here's the first one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex9VAjvxZ98

The added bonus is Grady Matthews commentating!
