Questions about Cuetec cues

Hi,

I am thinking of getting a full Cuetec set for daily play, and possibly leaving at the pool hall's locker. My wife has been complaining about me going out with my case lately. lol.

I have a few questions:

1) I am interested in the Cuetec R360, Shane's version, but wonder if he plays with the default R360 shaft or modified shaft? I know some pros are sponsored by the some producers but they have their shaft modified, and they may use old growth maple shafts, who knows.

2) which is the better break cue? Meteor, Bullet or WCT?

3) I intend to buy from Seyberts, but I want a Cuetec extension also, and I cant see it on Seyberts, where can I get it?

4) overall quality and performance, what is your experience with Cuetec cues, and R360 in particular?

thanks in advance for your input.
Cuong.

1) Shane has an R360 shaft with a different ferrule and a Kamui brown medium tip
2) A guy on my 9-ball APA team has a WCT break cue and it's nice
3)If you can't find it through a google search, you're being lazy
4)My overall experience with cuetec cues? They are what they are. Nothing more.

I'm a cue snob and everything I have it custom or has been customized. Take my opinion for what it is.

not sure about other break cues and playing cue but Meteor is not a good breaking cue, dont get it

Thanks a lot. I am just looking for a budget set that I can leave everywhere :)

Thanks for your input, I am leaning towards the WCT bcoz it has a linen wrap.

There are several people on AZB that tried the 360 Cuetec and liked them. Look in the cue review section, I think there are some posts in the Main forum as well (Check the Search button).

Cuetecs are excellent cues. I think the extension has been discontinued. There are other extensions available. Seybert's is great to deal with.

I'll bet it will be re continued if it was. Everybodys doing it. Johnnyt

PS: Can't go wrong with the R-360.

I have a r360 and love it. IMO I don't think you need a break cue with the r360. But Shane uses the wtc.

thanks, guys, for your input.

I however read some reviews that the R360 warped. I thought they did the core to deal with warpage, but still it warps?

I don't use a break cue with 9ball and don't use the jump cue often but would be nice to get a whole uniform package lol.

I considered Mezz but they are so pricey.
