My first custom cue, wanted to share.

My wonderful girlfriend is buying me this Pierce off a good friend of mine for a birthday gift, I'm pretty ecstatic. I've been shooting with it for a couple weeks and am absolutely in love with it. Never hit with anything other than a production players, and I must say this feels so much nicer. Anyways, I think the price is a steal, and I'm very happy with it. I don't know much about it except it has 4 points, 2 high and 2 low. A textured leather wrap. Yellow, purple, green, and blue are the colors it has, has the silver dash things, and I think it looks awesome! Here are some pictures :cool:

Edit: I have no idea what kind of wood the black is, if anyone can help me out that's be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your first custom! Great looking cue, those veneers really pop.

I'd guess the black is either ebony or maple stained black.

the colors of this cue remind me of a computer motherboard, very modern, l like it.

Shes definitely a keeper. The cue is nice too. If she can cook, you should buy a ring. :wink:

I tried the opposite with my wife when we were first dating. It was Christmas and I handed her a big, long box and her eyes absolutely lit up. Then she opened it and her smile turned into a WTF face. It was a brand new cue, which she used once and then I never saw it again...
 
Thanks everyone! The colors of the veneers are my favorite thing, they go so well on the black, and the silver dashes, really gives it a unique look.

I already bought her a ring, she just doesn't know it yet, she's definitely a keeper! :)

Just curious, would anyone happen to know what a cue like this is valued? I've been told she's getting a steal, but I'd like a bit more input.

Isn't that how it goes, Friend? You gotta buy your own and have it delivered to your work or a SINGLE buddies house. Lol.

My first custom was also a Pierce. I was hooked on Customs from that point forward. Have never purchased another production.....
