Cut induced throw and Simonis cloth?

Does slicker cloth reduce CIT? I grew up playing on nappy cloth but my reintroduction to the game, and to Simonis cloth, is causing me to overcut alot of shots. Is there any truth to this or did I just forget where to hit 'em?

The cloth should be immaterial during contact, so the simple answer is no.
One thing slipperier cloth will cause is a different "stun" point where the ball has no draw or follow. That will be the point with most CIT, and if it's not where you expect you could be surprised, but you might get more or less CIT than you expect.

The balls today might be cleaner.

Thank you for suggestion about "surprise" stun. My problem seems to be predicticting when and where the CB will be sliding on sllicker cloth.
