Jump Cue for Short Jumps

What is the best jump cue for short jumps? A friend has a "popper". I am going to check it out tomorrow.
 
I love my 3 piece bungee jump/break. However Mike Gulyassy makes the best jump/break "anvil" IMO. It's a little pricey though.
 
Dr Popper can jump from literally beside other ball. Not a legal cue only because it tapers after the ferrule and widens to the butt. Cues have to be straight or conical
 
I like the Jacoby. I have tried them all and for me it works the best. Of course I use the dart style for jumping

I've had a sledgehammer for years and I've always liked it but I haven't heard of the anvil. Any major differences between the two?
 
I have a RAT-J2 from Ryan Theewen (Rat Cues) at Muellers.

It's quite possibly the best jump cue I've ever used. The RAT-J1 is a normal jumper, the J2 has a uniloc extension. I have an older model with a White Diamond tip on a G10 ferrule. The new models come with a one piece G10 ferrule/tip.
 
It's hard to beat a Mezz Airshooter as far as short jumps with the dart stroke are concerned. It has an ergonomic grip right above the joint and jumping is effortless.

Also I think Hanshews work really well too.

Not sure about any changes. The are both top quality j/b cues. Lots of pros were using the sledge hammer years ago. Guessing the still are. :-)
 
I have a sledgehammer and a diveney with g10 ferrule/ white diamond tip.

The sledgehammer is like cheating. The diveney is harder to use.
