I am just curious as to the thoughts of the community. I am searching for a wrapless custom merry widow style cue with a 3x8 pin into wood for a decent price, below 600.00 preferably.

Any suggestions.

My suggestion is to post that sentence in the wanted/for sale section of the forum. You'll have plenty to choose from.
 
Diveney should fill that bill. I tried one like you're looking for a couple of months ago and was very impressed. Beautiful balance and hit.
 
Jeff Olney would be a great choice in that range, I love the way his cues hit and his quality is really excellent.

Diveney is good as well, though his prices might be a little above your range except for the sneakies, though they play really nice.

For a really great option with excellent affordability and availability check out Rat cues. You can order one online for under $400 and he's got some great wrapless styles with 3/8x10 G10 pins. I haven't handled one myself but I've heard nothing but good things.

I think the 3x8 pin is going to be tough for you to deal with....
