Earl vs Tony in hot-seat match now

I caught onto this tread a bit late (distracted by the Masters), but thought I could catch the last few racks.

Good god, did the match last even an hour? Tell Earl to slow the freak down!

Love these posts, "in hot seat now" because in five years this will be back on page one with someone saying who's winning, what's the score ? Just hope it isn't me !

Wow! Earl was totally on fire in the finals. He freight trained Mika 9-3 in 38 minutes. Earl caught a gear and was shooting fast and playing some of the best pool I've seen him play. And amazingly, his break was on. He was pocketing balls on the break and getting a shot, break after break. Upstate Al commented that Earl told him recently "If I can start making balls on the break, I could be dangerous." He showed that tonight.

Thanks for the info, I was watching the Masters, too. Ole Earl just doesn't
beat around the bush when he's at the table. He shot the same way at Turning
Stone last fall and played incredible. I think Shuff was the only one to beat
him in a match that tornament. Every time I watched him play, it was lightning
fast, center pocket, and perfect position over and over and over. Sounds
like he was hitting them the same way today. Thanks again.

Earl's top gear is probably still better than anyone else's.

Anyone know if these matches will be uploaded anytime soon?
Love watching Earl when he's "feelin' it".

Pretty surprising since Mika has beaten Earl on a regular basis the last few years...cant believe Mika got rolled that bad, Earl must be playing insane.

The Earl of old for sure......he says these 9-footers are getting smaller. That 10 ft practice is paying off.Congrats.

Only way to slow him down, is with a big bag of potato chips.
