Sad part is the woman champion in snooker wins about 400 pounds ($650) the men champion wins 250,000 pounds ($400,000).

That's why the great women players from Britain came over to the USA to play pool.

To be fair....the WPBSA gave her a wildcard for the 2010/2011 season.
..she did not win a match.
Barry Hearn would love a woman who could compete at the top.
 
Titles aside, anyone know how her skill level compares to Allison and Karen in snooker when they were in their prime playing it?

£1,500 to be deadly accurate.

The difference is reflective of the different marketable value no doubt.

Whether it is true that the great players all now play pool or not, Evans can only beat who is put in front of her.

Ten from ten is laudable whatever the sex or the sport.

Didn`t she win her first title before she got her Driver`s License? I vaguely remember her posting on the facebook many years ago something about her first drivining experiences or passing the exam or something like that.

That's crazy how little the tournaments are worth. That's about a week of salary for a middle of the road manager or a programmer.
