Rules question on the Greek stream

I just watched Kazakis break against SVB. He made 2 balls on the break, and SVB shot the next shot. What did I miss? There was no pushout, no scratch.

Did my computer skip or is there a 9 ball rule in Greece I'm not familiar with?

I read in the chat they're playing 3 balls must pass the kitchen sink. The balls dropped count as each. I think they played this at the Mosconi?

They play those rules at some of the asian tournaments.

Thanks gxman! So no ball in hand on that though, table just goes to the other shooter? Appreciate the quick answer as I was perplexed.

I hate that rule. It ends up being worse than no rule. It should be 2 balls at most, or 3 past the side. You can break hard and end up screwed anyway due to random kisses or if a ball hits the side pocket point.

No foul so no ball in hand. Table goes to his opponent except that his opponent can turn the table back to the breaker. So it is more like the breaker plays a push out:)
