Hello everybody, please critique my stroke if I had one :)

I started with stop shot on long rail, cue ball and object ball are 4 diamonds away. Before I saw the videos, I noticed 2 major problems on that shots:
1) I miss the pocket often in the same way, see the video on 1.15min, 2.50min, 3.11min, 3.46min, 4.35min, 6.05min . I think is an alignment error, or a visualization problem.
2) I have to shoot that shots firmly, If I shoot them with less power, I can't stop the cue ball, and it rolls up like on 5.50min. Did I shoot them too hard?

Here is a stop shot in the middle of the table, cue ball and object ball are 3 diamonds away.

The last I practiced draw shots, cue ball and object ball are 3 diamonds away, I understand that I hit them too hard, but without a reasonable result (the cue ball draws back only 5-20 cm). After I saw the video, I leveled my cue, and made a longer follow through, the draw was better (I didn't capture it on the video), but not great. If the cue ball and object ball are 3 diamonds away, and I move the cue ball closer to object ball for 5-10 cm, I make that draw shots without problem with a good draw. Any ideas?

Thank you and sorry for the video quality.

It looks like you are using the Aramith measle cue ball. What about the object balls? What brand are they?

For now I am only going to comment on the Draw shot.

It is not speed or follow through that is the problem. You are pounding the ball, and not getting much draw. It is your tip placement. From the angle you gave us it looks to me that you are only hitting the cueball a tip below center.

Work on hitting the cueball lower, and slower to start. You will see your draw shot improve.

You are right. I got yesterday to the table, and practiced draw shots, shooting them lower, and in slow mode, and yes I start to make them good. Still have to work, but at least I know where one problem was.

Keep working on going lower until you find the tip placement that you miscue at, then stay slightly above it.

This is going to require excellent mechanics.

The problem in shooting the same shot over and over again is that a player will not treat it like a different shot each time. The more they shoot it, the more they will short cut their approach and aim, get down quickly, and then shoot it without having known what they just did.

Take your time.

It makes sense.

Here is the side, sorry again for poor quality, but I think you can get the idea. Thanks

This is more like it. Now we can see something.

Let's just start with a note. When do you raise your eyes to the object ball?

I like everything you are doing except.

After your three warm-up strokes are done STOP your cue and move your eyes to the OB.

Practice this for 5 minutes and let it become part of your routine.

Good luck

Not an instructor, but how tightly are you gripping the cue? It seems like it bounces a little bit at the end of your stroke, which is usually a sign that you're holding too tight.

I'll try it, thanks. Sincerely I don't know when I'm raise my eyes to the object ball, but the fact is the last I'm watching is the OB.

I can't say I hold the cue to tight, I think is a medium loose grip. In past I tried a tight grip, and it didn't work for me.

Last 2 days I looked deliberately at the object ball last, made warm-up strokes, stopped the tip near the cue ball, move the eyes to the object ball, made back swing, stop and shoot.

Thank you, in last 2 days I played my best pool in last months, made long straight shots without problem, and obtain great position.
