A Kahr CW9 along with my Al Link sneaky, to keep it pool related

What a great thread, I'm sure that any potential sponsors just love this and would flock to put up money.

Start another thread where everyone shows their pipes and needles.
Here we go.I'll go and make the popcorn.lol

...why do you guys have guns?...

They are fun I love to shoot and have a range in my back yard. Many grew up with families that hunted or were sport shooters. A lot were in the military and developed an interest. Shooting is in the olympics and a widely enjoyed sport by millions. I am sure there are more sport shooters then pool players and the industry far more lucrative then the pool industry. To answer your question, kind of hard to shoot without a gun.

Here we go what? Another instigator with their popcorn thread.

Surely you can't think that in the main pool forum a thread about guns and pool is appropriate.

I'm 100% for guns, but not in a pool forum where potential sponsors and new players read.

Yea, there are tons of sponsors lined up monitoring this forum. Sponsorship has nothing to do with image, it has to do with return. Believe me, if any sponsor thought there was any money to be made with an involvement with pool you could not keep them away, with a gun. Look at those idiotic reality shows they dump money into because they get a return.

The pool image thing is a red herring and always has been. In fact, that seedy image pool has, be it deserved or not, is the only thing that even does sell.

That's funny you say that as I just posted a week ago interest in a 3 person one pocket game with a big name sponsor.

Sponsor has research go out and look at pool forums and see what they would be getting into. Fortunately in this intstance there was no interest from the pool world for this event, so they took their money and invested it in another sport.

I do have sponsors who like pool, it's been proven here from teams and a tournament I got sponsored.

What have you done?

If someone with some money didnt want to sponsor me because I posted a picture of a legal firearm then that would be perfectly fine with me. There is nothing negative in this thread....unless you hate guns and everyone that has one. I prefer them to take their money elsewhere.

Another thing....how can this be compared to needles and pipes. Those are illegal and guns are not.

Seems like these gun owners have their sh*t in a kit as far as legality. Having the right to own a gun isn't reason enough to own one. These people enjoy owning firearms, so they do. The OP wanted to see cue collectors that also owned firearms. I say take a picture for your gun with your cue and keep this in the main forum ;)

If the Mods want to move this to NPR section, they can. It's simple.

It is my 2nd Amendment Right to keep and bare arms. Plain and simple.

My 2nd Amendment Right is to "keep and bear arms"... bare arms is probably covered in the 1st Amendment.

BTW, I sold off many of my cues to buy guns. All top tier stuff just like my cues.

Why do we own guns....can't speak for others but me.......because of what Sam Colt once remarked.

God may not have made men all equal but Col. Colt sure did.......and the world around us is becoming more violent.

Remember Aurora Colrado.........I will not go down without at least returning fire and you can't do that if you don't own a gun or it's not on your person when needed.

I own guns because I can....I wear and carry a gun for self-defense because I'm qualified and legally licensed to wear and carry a concealed weapon.

And guns are beautiful works of art....it's not the gun that becomes a problem, it's the gun owner.

Expanded, stricter background checks are needed and every gun sale undergoes a background check. ...."Regulate the gun owners instead of blaming the guns."

It is actually, God created Man. Sam Colt made them Equal.

But there are variations to it, one of which you came close to.

We aren't allowed to carry guns in Canada. I have always wondered what it felt like.

I can imagine that based on how Bava describes his ownership and proudly being able to carry legally in 40 States that it must feel like walking down the street with a perpetual Hard On.

I know from working at a hospital in the ER and having our local cops in there getting in our FKIng way constantly, that the ability to strap a Glock on your hip automatically makes you strut like a little Rooster.
