That's why he is the lion. Been doing that since he was a teenager.

Too bad. Alex got crushed in last frame. Loses 4-2.
It's officialy over for this one. One more shot next week for him and Corey both. I think he did a lot better than a lot of people on here thought he would do. He would had really been in for it next match anyways. I'm sure the seasoning he got from it was well worth it, maybe he can put some of it to use next week.
I think there are many who expected him to Qualify given his skill set and that snooker is not new to him ,,

Pretty well done by Alex!
He play a lot better than i thought.
I'd think so far the q-school has went exactly as (almost) everyone here predicted for the three pool players.
Melling was assumed to have a relatively good chance to go through (which he still has), Pagulayan was predicted to give a good game but not be able to compete against the toughest opponents (as it went), and nobody really believed Deuel to have any chance (which he didn't).
But there is a second tournament coming, and the cream of the crop will be already qualified from the first one, so I'd say Alex still has a good chance to go through, if he shows his best game. Not a bad showing so far.
That said, the pro tour will be brutal, if some of these three will actually qualify.
PS. By the way, there may well be other players with a pool backround in the q-school, of whom I don't know about.
That marvelous stroke.
Um, Alex lost 4-3. That's not exactly unable to compete. Wasn't like he got blown off the table.
This thing is a myth, and a poor one.
Even though I would like to think otherwise, as a pool player. But it just is.
The game that requires ''the best stroke'' is obviously 3 cushion billiards, yet if you ask any billiards player, they'll tell you that a child can have their stroke, but this child will lose against a determined adult who knows what he or she's doing.
A deep screw is always fun.
