From your description, it sounds like a standard spam/phishing e-mail, not that "Ebay has been hacked". No?

There has been a huge data breach at eBay. They have just not handled it well at all. I would have never known about it if I didn't read Wired online.

Ebay contacted me about a week ago and advised me of the data breach so I went to eBay and changed my password.But,of course,do not click on a link in a suspicious email.Log into eBay and change your account info.
