Beautiful playing cue from the 2011 Cue Builder of the Year. This cue was built in 2013. Absolute mint condition. No scratches, dings or dents. Everything rolls straight, both separate and assembled.
The wrap is genuine lizard skin.
Keith rarely does this, but he agreed to build joint protectors for this cue and all shafts. (JPs have sold!)
In the spirit of full disclosure, the points are not exactly even, but this is a beautful, well-made, nice-hitting cue. If you're looking for a museum piece to hang on the wall, this wouldn't be your cue. I have to honestly say I have played with a couple of $5 - $7K cues that didn't hit as well as this cue!
Butt sleeve is Ebony with beautiful inlays: Large diamond-shape made of maple, with smaller diamond-shape made of Camatillo rosewood. Topping it off are strategically placed silver dots.
Forearm is BEM with Ebony points. Veneers are natural, burgundy, light blue and black.
All white is ivorine with custom ringwork in all positions. Cue has Josey's standard radial pin. It hits like "butta" and is nicely forward-balanced.
Butt weighs 15.02 oz.
Cue comes with three shafts: Josey's standard rock hard maple, Josey's Timeless Timber shaft, and a custom Strickland-taper from Mike Gulyassy.
Standard shaft weighs 4.03 oz and measures 12.85 mm (This shaft has been sold)
Timeless Timber weighs 4.05 oz and measures 12.70 mm (This shaft has been sold!)
Gulyassy weighs 3.60 oz and measures 12.9 mm
Pricing options:
With all 3 shafts is $1700
With the standard maple only is $1400
With the standard + the Gulyassy is $1550
Buyer is responsible for paying S&H + Paypal fees. Shipping to continental USA only.
