Has anyone tried to incorporate any of the very mini hidden cameras avaiable these days into a pool table. Seems to me that one of the major technological advances that helped poker take off was the hole card camera as this allowed tv viewers the ability to feel like they were a part of the game and had incite into what was happening and for what reasons. I have watched pool online and on tv and one thing that always is bothersome is not being able to see as well what the player can see ie does the cue ball go past the 7 to make the 1 or exactly what english or position a player is shooting on the cue ball. If cameras could be inbedded in the pockets and under the rails near the slate a better viewing experience may be possible to more effectivly capture viewers and have them feel like they are in the game themselves. If i had the financial means to experiment i would but i dont. However if this idea was to take off i will revert to this thread in my paten lawsuit. Lol..... Discuss!
