Hello all i am fixing to get my tournament set up going and was wondering how do you price your repairs. not asking for specific pricing information, just general guidelines
 
cost of the tip + $$$/hour for labor. Don't forget to add sales tax, file in the city/state you are working in, and to have a business license.. When you work a tournament, you never know who is watching....
 
I use double the cost of the tip plus a flat rate for installation. I have thousands of dollars worth of tips in my inventory and I am going to make a profit on my investment.

I only carry one tip............ why sell all those substandard tips to your customers???

I prefer to give the customers what they ask for and not what I can talk them into. There are many, many, quality tips on the market. For instance, I know several player that refuse to use a layered tip. What do you do? Turn them away? That doesn't make much sense to me....
 
I have a set flat "install" rate that I go by and then add the cost of the tip with it and round up to the nearest $5.00 So lets say you want to charge $15.00 for the install on every tip and you have a $12.00 tip your putting on. It would be $15.00 + $12.00 = $27.00 You would then charge $30.00 for that tip installed. That's the way I do it.

I only sell Ultra Skins.......... I tell them ..... "let me put it on and then you play with it............ if you absolutely don't like it..... I will buy the tip you want and put it on for free..........."

never had one come back for a free tip but I have had many return customers for another Ultra Skin on another stick or a replacement...............

but that's just me
