bar beater cue ideas

I have a bar beater cue I made 2 piece wood to wood(dufferin) I leave in my car just in case haha because some hard rails,thin felt etc.on bar tables I want ideas for some high action ferrule and tip combos ...any suggestions greatly appreciated

Ugly cues won't draw attention and won't get stolen..... but then can play as good as any cue if they are put together right....

Probably the best combination I've experienced was the Gen1 Aegis,
topped with a Gen1 Moori MH. Even at the time that was a $50 front-end.
Today, you could easy multiply that by 4.

I tend to think a firmish tip with a good curvature will spin the ball as much as you could possibly expect it to spin, regardless of what cue it is attached to.
 
Unfortunately, you will just have to try many different tips, until you find the tip type and radius that suites your style of play and stroke.
 
I have mostly used nickel shaped tips but now starting to like more dime shapes???
