House Come the Pros don't use Chalk Holders?

My guess is that most if not all pros use Masters chalk and if everyone is using the same chalk then there is really no need to have a chalk holder in my opinion. If a pro is using a different kind of chalk then my guess is he might be more inclined to carry it on him. Yet again the pros have sponsors as well so the thought probably never crosses their mind because they simply have a unlimited supply of free chalk! Who knows I am sure it is for a number of different reasons.

If you are sponsored and get free chalk, they most likely wont what you covering the label with a chalk holder.

The only person I know that has their own chalk holder is Thorsten Hohmann, and that's because he's sponsored by Qpod. I've never seen any other pro use one, except those sponsored by Qpod. Pros don't really care about chalk, they can not chalk for an entire rack and still run out, I've seen Shane do it a million times, he has amnesia when it comes to needing to chalk.

If you are talking about the square plastic ones that cover the top of the chalk except for a center hole,,,,,, why bother,,, you can't chalk properly with those.

If I knew there was always going to be good free chalk out on the tables where I play I wouldn't bother with one either. A lot of pros will carry the chalk in their pocket. I wouldn't like getting my pockets all blue but that's just me.

Darren and several of the euros actually pocket their chalk... If you were to video yourself you might do so as well... Nothing like getting settled in and then deciding to chalk when it's on the other end of the table.. Starts to look like a monkey looking for a football with bad intentions......

Having the chalk in a holder or in your pocket will go a long way to solidifying a PSR.......

When you play carom billiards, or snooker, you keep your chalk in your pocket. It has become a custom. So much so, that if you don't, people look at you funny.

Culture is a bit different in the US, it's sorta the other way around. If you have your bring your own chalk, or wear gloves, you are a fag apparently.

Tides always turn at some point... The glove has came a long long way unless your in a bar that doesn't have any actual players... The chalk thing is picking up speed as well... I can tell you I check the tables at the big tournaments after we shut down filming and I usually come home with a bag full of Blue Diamond and Now predator... The Kamui I have yet to find left behind but several other people had to have since I lost 2 pieces.....

I'm having trouble getting by the 'house come'....
...I'll get to the chalk part another day.

Because good players realize when they miscue it was a break down in fundamentals.. not because they weren't using pre flag masters chalk lol They're only focused on making balls and getting position.
