2014 World 9-Ball Championship

Final session of last 32 starting in few mins
8 matches

Shane v Dang Jin Hu
Wu v Kai Lun
Ouschan v Hybler
Li He Wen V Teutscher
Gabica v Seung Woo
Nick Eko v Tohru
Chang Yu Lung v Cohen
Van den berg vs Gallego

I predict following to go thru to last 16:
Shane or Dang (Hard to call this one. All depends on how is Shane's form today. Dang has nothing to lose so pressure on Shane)
Wu
Ouschan
Teutscher
Seung Woo
Tohru
Chang Yu Lung
Van den berg

As predicted before, Thorsten, Appleton and Peach will not win this year cos of that 10 year theory between championships LOL

Now who is remaining champ who won WC 10 or more years ago?
Wu. Yes time flies and this year is 10th anniversary of his famous clutch performance in 2005
But then chances of new champ % being crowned is much higher so it is against the odds for Wu

I was watching the Wu/Lo match, Wu was really on, if he plays like that throughout the tournament, he is a good shot to win.

Quietly, the Pinoys are 4 out of 4 so far.

Carlo Biado, Johann Chua, Raymund Faraon and Elmer Haya are all in the last 16, and they've got 2 more to go, last year's runner-up Antonio Gabica and Ramil Gallego.

They even lost their vaunted stalwarts in the round of 64, Lee Vann Corteza and Dennis Orcullo, how strong is that!

I think that is only 9 years actually. I guess he'll have to wait one more :)

Haha yes you are right only 9 years. I am sure he will hang around since he is in coaching these days unlike Ko who is doing part time business degree and may move on to another career in some more years from now

Yes Wu is always one of favorites in any tourney. But problem here he is drawn up against many of his countrymen who know his style and are familiar with him. He play Kai Lun now and after that likely Chang Yu Lung if Chang wins

Shane changes is PSR. I don't like it.

I like his shirt though.

Freddie <~~~ it's the little things that make World Champions
