My man cave in progress with cue display cases

I haven't thought about using the jp's to hang them but it would be easy enough to do .

My worry

I still have a display case that I built, and I was very proud of it. But then realized that what I had done is built something that would make a thieve notice and probably take.

Even if he didn't know that some of the cues I have are fairly valuable, as most laymen would be, if I displayed them, they would probably indicate that they have value and be taken. The same goes for gun displays.

So like so many, the actions of others has decided what I will do. I bought a gun safe and guns, cues, cameras, jewels, coins, and important papers get hidden away in the safe.

I wish you the best of luck and rolls,

Ken

That's what insurance is for Ken...

You don't figure the thief might decide that what's in the safe might be valuable?

Don't count on that unless you spoke with your agent and have a special policy, from what I've heard you won't get much relief from a normal policy when talking about multiple high end cues.

Why in the world would you NOT speak to your agent if you have a large high end cue collection?

Thanks for the concern. My uncle is my insurance agent and it was discussed many years ago when I went to my first SBE. He has assured me that my cues are covered both at home and while traveling. I do have a safe where my guns live along with those irreplaceable items that could burn. It's a bad ass safe so no worries about anyone getting into it or carrying it away . It's close to 1800 lbs and is Hilti'd to the floor.

I have a log and take some pictures of every cue. I keep it in the safe should the worst happen

Whats in my safe is worth over 6 figures.

But with it, I don't worry about someone breaking into it.

Secondly, it is supposed to fire resistant, it might just be a selling deal.

I used to have insurance on my cues, but I had a cue stolen and a claim. My rates went to about a billion dollars.

Buying a safe was a lot cheaper.

I wish you all the best.

Ken
