You do realise pooky disputed the transaction after 24 hours and the payment has been on hold since then? As far as the seller is concerned, he doesn't have payment, PayPal has Pooky's money. What should the seller have done, apart from communicate a bit better. If someone paid for one of my cues and then cancelled the payment the next day I'd be pretty pissed . I certainly wouldn't be sending the cue, and I wouldn't be able to refund. The seller could have sent the cue, but then he would have no cue and no money- that was never going to happen.
The thing that bugs me most is that Pooky started a thread asking for advice AFTER he had already lodged a dispute. He didn't need advice, he just wanted to trash a seller's reputation. As I have said previously, this should all have been dealt with privately. The seller has only posted a handful of times, short but sweet. Pooky has posted continually repeatedly called the seller a liar, and saying that the seller has said stuff that he hasn't- eg that the seller says payment was never received. Pooky's posts are fairly hysterical, and that's how he's handled the whole affair. Pooky has been fairly liberal with the truth, and would never have mentioned the PayPal dispute if he hadn't been forced to. For me, I wouldn't hurry to do business with either party, between them they are doing a disservice to the forum, and are only going to make people wary of trading here. he
