Hello guys,

From the 9 August to the 30 August i will be in the states:

- Los Angeles;
- San Francisco;
- Las Vegas;
- San Diego;

Could please tell me if there are some custom cues shops around this cities? Even if there are some really good pool hall that i can't miss in my trip. Can be interesting visit some cuemaker as well.

Everything concerning pool at the end! :-)

South West is in Vegas,also check out there some nice Roms like best billiards and rum Runner :)

Ginacue in Hollywood. Ernie's shop (and cues) are amazing.

Coker is in Sacramento, he's a good guy and was very helpful I went to his shop. Chudy is in the East Bay, and Tonkin is in the North bay, but they are both very busy guys from what I hear. There are a few other locals, but good luck with trying to get a shop tour. Are you looking to buy a cue?

Places to play in SF bay area would be; Family Billiards, The Broken Rack in Emeryville, Billiards Palacade, Crown Billiards in Danville, and there are a few others.

If you're ever on the Oakland side, let me know if you want to shoot a bit.
 
While in L.A. you need to stop in Hard Times. It is still the meca of pool rooms in the area. Plus Al Romero has his cue shop right there.

Contact Ernie ahead of time. I think he has just limited his business. And, if you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of his 50th Anniversary cues.

Visiting Ernie would be a great one and close by to that would be Tony at Tiger Products. He has a nice Diamond table there and a bunch of cues and other products you check / try out. Super nice guy too !!

GUYS some of you can help me to find a place to stay for 3 nights from 9 to 12 of august in LA? Everyboby told me to go in Santa Monica but is really expensive and almost completely booked. Someone know a good place (even not in Santa Monica). Thanks to all of you... Ale
