Great Commentary

A bit off topic, but I found Tom Caravasis' (sorry if I misspelled the last name, I've only heard it spoken) commentary to be extremely knowledgeable and I learned a great deal about the subtleties of straight pool from his analysis. Tom, thanks for sharing your knowledge and love of the game. I now have a much deeper appreciation of the complexities of 14.1.

Tom Karabotos is a protoge' of the Hall of Fame straight pool legend Dallas West.
I had the pleasure of commentating with Tom at this event a few years ago and his deep knowledge of 14.1 is complemented by his ability to describe the action with insight and clarity. Tom is a first class guy, and I think he has a 200+ ball run to his credit.

Id like to correct Dragon Promotions News Release.
"Russia's, Evgeny Stalev, has also assured a European in the final four.."
Russia has the greatest land mass in the world. 74% in Asia. They are not referred to as Europeans but as Eurasians.
Calling Stalev a European is stretching it in my opinion.

'
Karabotsos' is closer I'm sure.

BUT-Stalev seems to read the pack better than all these guys- How is that possible with near no exposure to the game?

Europe extends to the Ural mountains. So it depends where Stalev is from in Russia.

Darren is on a 100+ ball run and has taken the lead.

I'm getting a lot of artifacts in the stream, and after it gets worse and worse it craps out completely and I have to restart it after a few minutes.

My stream keeps cutting off and won't reload.

It was the best it ever was for a while, then it went choppy and now it is gonex. For me anyway. I've never seen a consistently good stream from Steinway I dont think. Must be them.

They are rebooting now- should be ok in X minutes or so
