How many times have you heard a potential opponent say, "I'll play you after I get my game on?"
Watching these guys "get their game on" is like watching a black hole: It looks neat at first, then you realize that whatever's caught in it is just going 'round and 'round, then disappears forever.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with practice; heaven knows I spend a good ninety five percent of my time doing it.
But, if you're aimlessly adrift (sorry) during practice, potting balls without purpose and doing it with a lifeless stroke, it's going to be many moons before you're ready to up your game.
Note to aspiring players: Nothing will energize your game more than getting a good ass whooping. This is especially true if all you're playing for is the time.
Shoot safe.
